WARNING!!!! SOMEONE (ME ALSO) LOST THE USE OF VOLUME BOTTONS AND CAMERA IN WINDOWS MOBILE AFTER TESTING THIS ANDROID VERSION, THE ONLY WAY TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM IS A HARD RESET, SINCE WE ARE STILL TRYING TO FIX THIS KIND OF PROBLEMS I SUGGEST YOU TO TRY IT ONLY IF YOU ARE READY TO A POSSIBLE HARD RESET!!!
REMEMBER: ALWAYS WAIT FOR WINDOWS MOBILE TO FINISH HIS BOOTING SEQUENCE BEFORE STARTING HARET.EXE, MIGHT BE THIS THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM
Here's the new Thread a lot of people asked for:
A new project is born to port Android on different htc devices with the same build.
A team of linux experts on #htc-linux is working hard to make it real and i'm trying to keep You updated with it.
In this version:
--- Android 1.6 --- Accellerometer works --- Bluetooth Works --- Screen on/off works --- Telephone, SMS system works --- 3G works --- Internet connection is finally fully controlled by Android and not from startup.txt so is supposed to be easier and working better --- WiFi working --- Now power botton is "home botton" short press go to home, long press popup a menu of latest applications used --- Recharging working
I[color=green]n the next release 3.5 jack entrance for normal Headphones will be fixed
Anyway phh give me the idea to "fix" the problem with turning on screen so hard and loong...
Is not really a fix but is a cheat
voir "autre"

Android Eclair 2.0.1 On Blackstone [18 May 2010] V2.2a
What's new? - Latest Update: 18 May 2010 (V2.2a)
FAST!!! (fastest build yet) (but its not a HD2 ;-)) GPS freezing MAY be resolved (not tested on all devices) Overclocking supported - Just choose 'overclocking' version from the installer menu to enable overclocking system.sqsh (14.04.10) + Rootfs (14.05.10 GPS Verified) + initrd (28.03.10) + htc-msm-android@20100518_132413 (debug disabled) Kernel/WiFi + conf file for NO partitions This is NOT a SENSE release, it is a regular Android release, but should have more stablity. This release is pretty fast (but I'd advise that once installed, you also launch SpareParts, and configure the window animations etc to 'fast' There is a chance that after installation, some Startup.txt settings MAY be incorrect for your device. If you discover any mistake, PLEASE let me know, I will correct asap. I need your help on this guys.
You MUST install on the Storage Card
Step 1) Prepare your SD Card Find a nice clean SD card to load Android on. You can either format your card to get it entirely clean, or you can leave all the files you may already have on there. *Warning* - If you have valuable data on your card, back it up. Android on Blackstone is usually safe, but if you can't afford to lose the data on your card, don't risk it!
Step 2) Download and install the CAB Download and install the following 'full package' cab (a collection of ALL the files you'll need to run Android on Blackstone)
*Notes : You MUST install on the Storage Card. The cab file will take a couple of minutes to install Android. Please be patient.
For those that are interested the cab files does the following: - Installs Android in the root of the SD Card - Adds a high res icon for Android in the root of the SD Card - Installs a shortcut in Program Files named "Android" (launches Haret.exe) - Installs the high res icon in the registry for WM6.5 users
Step 3) Run Android Android is now installed... So launch 'Android' from your Program Files menu in WinMo. Your phone should reboot into Android with 2 quick vibrations. Have patience... the first time you do this can take a LONG time (3 mins or more)
Congratulations, you should now be running Android!!!!!
Not Working -Wifi -GPRS -GPS -Bluetooth -External Speaker -HTC Widgets. (Thinking of getting rid of them) -Other things (Will be determined during the process of testing)
Issues: -Very slow when booting first time. (Reason is Rosie UI Launcher, I removed it locally and increased Boot speed as well as the whole device itself clearly) -If you feel that the device is freezed, no make sure cuz it's not. It's just doing SO MANY processes. -This build needs patience, so if you are not patient please save your device from your anger and don't test it.
Installation: 1- Download the Package and exctract it to your computer. 2- IMPORTANT - Download the zip file that is attached with this post, extract it and copy ALL the files in it to conf folder in the build. 3- Copy the files to your SD-Card. (MUST use clean one) 4- So your SD card will look like this:
SD Card Root /conf/*ALL CONF FILES IN THE ATTACHED ZIP Haret.exe initrd.gz zImage rootfs.img system.sqsh startup.txt
[Glossy Themed Eclair] (v2.01) +[Android 2.1 with SENSE (beta) (8/04)
First of all..I apologize for my bad english!!!
For all peoples who want to continue to test XDANDROID but without the poor native layout here you can test Glossy Themed XDANDROID!
This build contain the system core from Babijoee's latest build and modifyed framework-res.apk, service.jar and apps and some apps coming from flan 2.1.
HOW TO INSTALL:Create 4 partitions on your SD: p1= FAT32 / p2:EXT2 (label:system) min 256 mb/p3:EXT2 (label:data) min 256mb /min 64mb swap partition (large size is better). Put the files you find in the zip file in the root of FAT32 and run Haret. At startup press VolDwn when request...continue with upgrade than wipe data and you're ready to boot Android. Installation on partitioned SD require more time because the sistem.sqsh will be unsquashed on system labeled partition...but you will have more fast OS.
I recommend using the new ROM Lite Energy (does not give more RAM available, but Android seems to work faster).
Changelog v.2: -Added some graphics -New Launcher (Nexus One style) with thumbnail preview (double tap on screen)+enabled autorotate -New Google Maps 4.1 with latitude widget and working maps live wallpaper -New RootFS from XDANDROID modded for work on our Blackstone -Some speed tweaks -Automatic zipalignment for new installed apps -Clear cache at boot -Added Metamorph support (hopefully) (not tested)
* Android system wide Mic support. Eg: Voice dialer works. Note: You must make a phone call first or play sound before it works for programs. (phhusson)
* Wifi
* did I forget something ? Flashplayer 10.1 of course !! it works but not smooth enough to watch movies !
* Bluetooth : turn ON/OFF pairs and A2DP works! but blac touchpad is desactivated and sound have echo of helicopter
Current state: Boot: OK Graphical interface: Ok Touch screen: Ok (Needs calibration during boot; calibration data can also be supplied through a kernel boot option) R/W Access to /dev/smd0 (Control Channel): Dunno R/W Access to /dev/smd1 (For PPP): Dunno SD Storage Access: No USB: Partial Wifi: No Bluetooth: No GPS: No GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSUPA: No Audio Routing (Phone): No SMS/MMS: No Camera (front/back): No Hardware buttons: Partial On/Off = - Home = Depens what screen you at. Back = Depens what screen you at. Send = Depens what screen you at. End = Depens what screen you at. Volume Up/Down = - Stylus detection: Dunno
"I had a dream!!" T-mobile may do it !!!
