[ROM 2.3.1][Jan 06]AdamG Oxygen V2.0 RC6 for HTC Desire with mods for Softbank Japan

This is my home screen. I use Snowstorm for the weather, Smooth Calendar for a quick overview of my schedule, several CurveFish widgets to control data connections and Traffic Counter to control my data transfer.

In the dock you find Softbank MMS, Gmail, FBreader, Astro File Manager, Calendar and Groupy for my contacts.

Softbank Japan has implemented a special email service, based on MMS. It works like a push email service. The standard MMS application of Android does not support the Softbank S!Mail. There is a special UserAgent necessary.

I implemented the Softbank MMS application from Yokin's Studio into the ROM.

It handles normal SMS and the Softbank MMS.

To be able to type in Japanese, I implemented the Japanese keyboard from the Softbank Desire X06HT.

From this ROM I got as well the necessary APN settings for MMS and Internet connection using the flat data plan.

Strange enough, Softbank uses different APN settings for different plans and phones. This is very confusing.
