[HOW-TO] Vanilla stock ou Vanilla rotary lockscreen (rooted)

Hi All

i've managed to update few lines of code in android.policy.jar. As you
propably know the vanilla stock locksreen is broken this way :



for fixed stock lockscreen flash update_vanilla.zip

for vanilla rotary lockscreen flash update_rotary.zip

Vanilla rotary :



Vanilla stock :



Instructions :

1. boot phone into recovery (instructions here )
2. rename HTC lockscreen :

Code:

adb shell
mount /system
mv /system/app/HtcLockScreen.apk /system/app/HtcLockScreen.bak
exit

3. copy update to sdcard

Code:

adb shell mount /sdcard
adb push update_rotary.zip /sdcard

or

adb push update_vanilla.zip /sdcard

4. apply update zip
5. reboot the phone

first boot will take little longer due to odexing apps.

Note : If you are using the vanilla lock screen then you must set your
alarm in android’s clock application (or a 3rd party app) and not in
HTC’s if you want to be able to turn it off in the morning.

Issues/bugs : HTC alarm clock, won't work
on odexed ROM (stock, or MCR r2) do not even try it on these ROMs you
will most propably get endless loop.

Remember that if you use this guide, you do so entirely at your own
risk!!

merci, puis je te demander d'indiquer les sources dans tes posts, et je t'informe également que les téléchargement de pièces jointes XDA ne sont dispo que si on est connecté sur XDA, ce qui n'est pas le cas de tous Merci

Je vais les leech et les upload moi même alors. J'en prends bonne note.

Je suis passé sur la rom Itanium 3.0 Froyo avec Sense, mais je n'arrive
plus à remplacer le LockScreen d'HTC par le Vanilla LockScreen que je trouve bien plus joli et sobre.
Je reste bloqué sur l'écran blanc de démarrage avec le logo HTC.

Qui pourrais m'aider ? J'ai déjà cherché sur le forum XDA, en vain.
