Hello everyone,

as promised my announcement:

I'm gonna step back from my position as teamleader and stop all developments on xda.
..and no theres no way that I will revoke that decission and I also wont come back anytime soon.

It was really a nice time on xda, had a lot of fun, learned a lot and met a lot of cool people here.
Wanna thank all people that was part of that time on xda, my team - if developer, tester, themer, insider -, the mods (yeah I know I was a difficult guy),
some devs I learned from and of course the whole community, especially those of course that used our roms and supported it.

You are asking yourself now why I'm leaving I guess....
the reason why I'm gonna leave xda is, because I spent far too much time in here, instead of taking care of what is really important in life: work/family/future wife.
It's quite difficult to admit oneself, especially when you are addicted to something - yes working on stuff for xda turned really in an addiciton to me and I think some know what I'm tlaking about-,
that you are ignoring things in life that should get more attention. I spent nearly a year of my freetime on xda, nearly each evening after work I went to my laptop
and start to code for xda stuff..altough I already coded about 8-10 hours at work. Several weekends I spent late into the night with coding.
All those time that was spent in there, my relationship to my missus didnt really benefit from. It often caused arguments and my relationship is really not the one anymore
that it was before I worked extensivly on xda.
You may noticed that I wasnt much around the last weeks...Instead I spent the evenings and weekend with my future wife and pretty enjoyed it, really forgot how it is
to spent that much freetime not on xda (-:

Sure it was a hard decision for me to make the decission to leave xda on the one hand, because I'm really proud of what my team and me achieved in that short amount of time,
and enjoyed really most of the time when working on the rom.. On the other hand when I take a look what it has done to my relationship - I'm glad that I was able to admit that
myself early enough - it was a pretty easy decision. Private life should always have priority that's what I told my teamm8s lots of times as well.

This will be my last public post on xda, I'm gonna let close this thread for a day, so that the majority of our users wont miss the message.
FYI: richard and shniz are gonna try to continue the rom with the help of m0narx.
